Karina’s Katrina Cottage Featured in Southern Living

Southern Living

My very dear friend Karina Gentinetta's New Orleans home was featured in Southern Living this month!

I shot her home in 2010, and it's amazing how a stylist will change a home to suit the editorial requirements of a magazine.  I saw her home in white, Southern Living wanted color.

As you can see, Karina's talented at EVERYTHING.

If you buy a copy of this magazine, do it!

Until next time, stay shabby!

I have that magazine and I relished every single picture from that story. It is just beautiful. I just got my RH and they said on the last page that they are doing a feature on your sweet place next month. xo Diana

Dearest Sandy,

Great mention! Very worthwhile for getting this issue.
Editorial requirements change with the season as they want to show their readers 'new' or at least 'different' styles.
Love to you,

I'm a long time subscriber to this magazine, and I loved the home! The timing was perfect - I made my first trip to New Orleans about 3 weeks ago. I totally want a shotgun style home!

Karina's home is top notch gorgeous. What amazing decorating sense she has! I love the painted white floors, her furniture, and touches of gold. And her story makes her cottage that much sweeter.
