A Paper Slipper a la Marie Antoinette

...as if for dancing at a royal fete at Versailles in the last days of summer!

The form of a Tattered Vintage #199 template is cut with fancy scissors,
glued on cardboard, and white crepe paper from the dollar store is
fashioned in a bow and garnished with a vintage rhinestone pin.

Have you seen the special Victoria issue "Rooms of Bliss"?
It's relaxing and inspirational at the same time,
and mostly Toshi Otsuki's photographs.

Until next time, stay shabby!

Dearest Sandy,

Not only does Victoria show Rooms of Bliss but I myself have seen them in reality.
Just got to visit my True Love today after yesterday's 4-bypass surgery... He got moved from the CVICU to the next floor and freed from all his tubes. That was a Room of Bliss to all of us!

Greetings from Georgia,

Hey there Sandy! For a minute there, I thought that you had purchased one of my sister in law's beautiful handmade shoes...she is from Fête et Fleur and used to fashion the most GORGEOUS shoes...I don't know if she still does, but check her out! Lovely things here as always....and I am as SHABBY as you can get...I love the shabby look for cloths too!!! Enjoy what I assume is going to be a gorgeous fall up in your neck of the woods and stay cozy dearest! Anita

Hi Sandy,

I love the shoes! I clicked on the link for the template, but it wasn't there. :(

I played with paper this week too, and made a fairy dress! Come by to see it if you get a sec!

I'll look for the 'Rooms of Bliss"!

Have a wonderful day, dear friend!

Hi Sandy,
Thank you for stopping by and your comment wow's me. My little mention in being featured in Romantic Homes Magazine is a great honor one that I will hold dear and near to my heart!

When I discovered your site I was really wowed and there were no words. In fact I sent your site to my cottage friends who don't even blog so they to could be as jealous and I was...
And of course they were.

I will be back to see your next exciting treasured posting.
xoxo
